The art book „Oman – A Travellers Journey “ contains more than 200 impressing photographies of Ernst Hartig (EHa). They came into existence at the end of 2010, while his search took him to the Kingdom of Oman – a forward-looking Arab country that once, it is said, was home to Sindbad the Sailor. Tradition and modern meet together here in many ways: in handcrafts and architecture, in religion and education, and also in everyday life. Authentic impressions were captured by Ernst Hartig with his medium format camery, providing a depth of detail and giving insight into the distinctiveness of this multifaceted landscape.
